Beyoncé was joined on stage by her husband Jay-Z during her headline Chime For Change performance on Saturday night (1st June).

Kicking off with a version of the Sam Cooke classic ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’, Mrs Carter played a triumphant eleven song set of greatest hits plus covers of Etta James’ ‘At Last’ and Dolly Parton’s ‘I Will Always Love You’.

Seven songs in her husband Jay-Z came on stage for a show-stealing performance of their 2003 anthem ‘Crazy In Love’. The couple embraced at the song’s finale.

Also boasting performances from Jessie J, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Ellie Goulding, Florence & The Machine and more, the Chime For Change concert was held to promote education, health and justice for women.

Beyoncé told reporters before the event: "Women's rights have always been close to my heart.

“Being a mother, it's really important that I do what I can and use my voice. There are many women around the world that don't have one.

"We have to use our voices and raise awareness and be part of something where we can leave our legacy and help improve this world."
