They were massive in the late 90s with hits such as 'C'est la Vie', 'Rollercoaster' and 'Blame It on the Weatherman', but now, according to reports, twin sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou, and Sinéad O'Carroll, better known as B*Witched, could be due release a new album to celebrate their 20th anniversary!

It's been reported that the Irish group have been wanting to do some original music for some time and they are hoping to release new music 20 years after the release of their first single 'C'est la Vie'.

The girls's new music is believed to have a very different sound from their cheesy pop songs from the 90s, as they don't think they can 'match what they did in the past'.

After disbanding in 2002 they reformed for the ITV2 series The Big Reunion back in 2013 and released their EP 'Champagne or Guinness' a year later. Since then, they have continued play gigs and festivals across the UK and Ireland.

They are due to perform as part of a retro UK tour later this year and according to NottinghamshireLive Sinead said, "We really had no idea that things would get so big so quickly for us."

She went on to explain, "Before we put out our first single, we were in development alongside a boy band and it was almost a competition to see who the label would back out of the two groups."

Speaking about their iconic double denim outfits, she continued, “When I look back the music still stands up strong but I think the sheer amount of denim we wore was maybe a little much.

“We did pretty much everything you could do with denim, it was crazy.”

B*Witched are expected to be releasing new music later this year.
