Fresh from their european tour with Snow Patrol and currently opening for them across the month of June, The Florentinas have just dropped their new single The Scary Thing Is 🙌 🎶

Formed in early 2019, The Florentinas comprises Paddy Boyd (vocals), Jacob Kane (bass), Luke Swann (guitar) and Jakob Swann (drums), who met at secondary school in Bangor, Northern Ireland.

Paddy from The Florentinas said; “We’re super pumped about ‘The Scary Thing Is’. We’ve drawn from the excitement and uncertainty that comes with chasing our shared musical vision and bundled it up into a two-minute whirlwind. We feel that this allowed us to capture a beautiful chaos that is unique from anything else we’ve recorded so far.

"This is also the first time we’ll be releasing a track while touring so it’ll be really cool to put it out into the world while simultaneously taking it to the stage. We can’t thank Gary, Nathan and Johnny enough for inviting us back on the road and giving us such an incredible platform to do what we love. We’ve missed all the guys, and we can’t wait to see them again”

The Bangor four-piece have made a huge impact, releasing five singles, ‘Miami’, Sandcastles', 'It's Not In Vain', ‘Weatherman’ and “For You”, receiving daytime playlist support across some of Ireland’s largest radio stations, supporting artists such as, Nothing But Thieves, The Amazons, Stereophonics and Snow Patrol, as well as performing at Electric Picnic and Other Voices.
