Ariana Grande announces extra Dublin show 'due to phenomenal demand'

Global superstar Ariana Grande has announced a third and final Ireland show on the European Leg of The Sweetener World Tour.

The 'thank u, next' star will now play the 3Arena on September 22, 23 and 25.

Tickets go on sale from all usual Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and online, from 9am this coming Friday.

2018 marked yet another historic year for GRANDE. She concluded a banner twelve months with the distinction of being named Billboard’s “Woman of the Year” and receiving a pair of GRAMMY® Award nominations in the categories of “Best Pop Vocal Album” for her latest album Sweetener and “Best Pop Solo Performance” for “God Is A Woman.” Simultaneously, her recent single “thank u, next” bowed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and smashed the record for “Most Spotify Streams for a Song By A Female Artist in a Single Week.”

Grande’s album thank u, next, appeared in February 2019 and stormed the charts. It entered at No.1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, her fourth No.1 album and her second No. 1 album in under 6 months. It also brought Grande her first GRAMMY® Award for “Best Pop Vocal Album”.

Ariana Grande wants to keep things running smoothly on her upcoming tour, and she's giving her fans a head's up about "super strict" security measures so that they can prepare in advance.

The 25 year old singer took to both Twitter and Instagram on Sunday, to reveal fans can only bring clear bags to her shows this year.
