Ever heard a song and think that sounds like a competely different song?

Recently Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars were sued by 80s band Collage. They have previously been sued by Gap Band who won their lawsuit in May 2016 giving them 17% of publishing royalties and writing credits as 'Uptown Funk' and their song 'Oops! Upside Your Head' were said to have almost identical choruses.

These songs have allegedly been copied, you can listen to them below and make up your own mind.

1. Leona Lewis 'Collide' v Avicii 'Penguin' / 'Fade into Darkness' Avicii attempted to block the release of 'Collide' saying that the instrumental was a direct copy of his song 'Penguin' (released with vocals as 'Fade into Darkness'). Eventually an out of court settlement was agreed and Avicii worked with Leona on the release of the single which was released jointly.

2. Katy Perry 'Roar' v Sara Bareilles 'Brave' Despite the similarities there was no court case. In an interview Sara said, "I mean, I can't say that I think that they don't sound similar. I've known Katy a really long time and we're friends. And at the end of the day, it was really only good for my song. So, thank you, Katy Perry for that!"
