X Factor's Ché Chesterman shares amazing throwback video

Five years before achieving fame for his voice

The X-Factor hopeful Ché Chesterman has posted a video of his 14-year-old self singing in his room, years before he'd find fame for his voice.

The 19-year-old made it to the final 11 after impressing the judges with a mix up song of Amy Winehouse, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Tarrell in last week's show.

But not so long ago he’d just been a normal teenager (with an amazing voice) singing to himself.

Here he is singing 'Just Fine' by Boyz II Men.

The Essex teenager quit his job, stacking shelves in a supermarket, to pursue a singing career and originally wowed the judges in his first audition with his version of Jessie J's 'Who You Are'.

He's in the boys category alongside Mason Stone and Sean Miley Moore.
