Thieves 'steal thousands in goods' from Wes Nelson and Megan Barton-Hanson's home
The pair were out at the time

It really hasn't been the best of starts to 2019 for Love Island 2018 star Megan Barton-Hanson. After getting into a feud with her boyfriend Wes Nelson's Dancing On Ice partner, Vanessa Bauer, Megan was later rushed to hospital after suffering from a bladder infection, which later spread to her kidneys.
As if this wasn't enough for the month, it is now being reported that Megan and Wes have been left ‘inconsolable’ after thieves 'stole thousands in goods' from their house, as well as trashing the place. It seems the pressure was all too much as Megan posted on her Instagram story on Saturday that she'd split with Wes Nelson.
Although the pair were out at the time of the robbery, it is understood that they have been left shaken and are now worried that their new found fame is making them targets.
At the time of publication, the Love Island couple have remained silent on the reported burglary, with Wes expected to perform alongside his professional skating partner Vanessa Bauer on Sunday night's Dancing On Ice.
Fans were reading the news about the robbery when Megan Barton-Hanson posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram story confirming the couple had split.
She wrote a some-what joking message on Instagram that read, 'It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate, We have been working hard for well under a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.'
She continued, 'We are however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to one incredibly wonderful hamster and we ask for his and out space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We haven't really conducted our relationship that privately , and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner. Love, Megan & Wes'.
