To promote the official announcement of ‘Zoolander 2’ Derek Zoolander strutted his stuff on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week today (10th March).

Fourteen years after originally gracing cinema screens with ‘Zoolander’, Ben Stiller reprised his role as the clueless fashion model to walk down the Valentino runway at the famous event.

Fully-focused on the task at hand, he strode past shocked fashion insiders to the classic 1980s hit ‘Don’t You Want Me’ by the Human League.

Not to be overshadowed, Zoolander’s frenemy Hansel also made an appearance on the runway, with Owen Wilson reprising the role.

When both models reached each other in front of the pit of photographers, Derek pulled an epic ‘Blue Steel’, before grabbing an iPhone from a member of the front row and performing a heroic selfie down the catwalk.

Paramount Pictures announced news of ‘Zoolander 2’ on Twitter today, posting an image of the two characters posing on the runway alongside the caption:

“So hot right now: Derek & Hansel blaze down the @MaisonValentino runway, #Zoolander2 announced.”

It is rumoured that the new film will involve Zoolander’s overweight son, Derek Junior.

Zoolander 2 will hit cinemas on 12th February 2016.
