WATCH: Eamonn Holmes' reaction as he gets scared on live TV
It was part of the balloon face challenge.
Over the weekend Eammon Holmes got the fright of his life live on Channel 5's The Saturday Show.
The TV presenter who was born in Belfast, was a guest on the show presented by Gaby Roslin and Matt Allwright, along with his wife Ruth Langsford. While filming the show a balloon was burst behind the unsuspecting couple and Ferne McCann who was also a guest.
Gaby Roslin described it as part of the 'balloon face challenge' which apparently involves bursting a balloon behind someone while they're being filmed and has even caught out James Corden.
All three of the guests visibly jump and shake after the incident, with Eamonn asking if anyone has a "bit of towel for the couch"!

Despite getting the scare of his life Eamonn seemed to see the funny side, later tweeting, "Here is my frightened face in Full HD ......May I point out - being from Belfast, bangs are not something I like."
The Sky News Sunrise presenter announced earlier this month that he would be leaving the flagship programme to concentrate on documentaries and other projects that he has not found time for.
