Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer gives birth to baby girl and reveals unusual name
The Tracy Beaker star has given birth
Actress Dani Harmer and her partner Simon Brough have welcomed their first child into the world, a baby girl called Avarie-Belle Betsy Brough.
Dani, who shot to fame in children’s TV show Tracy Beaker, gave birth to Avarie-Belle on Tuesday evening with reports suggesting the little girl weighed 6lb 9oz.
According to Dani’s mum, Jill Harmer, both mother and baby are doing very well.
The 27-year-old joked with her Instagram followers last week when she posted a funny meme of a gorilla with the caption ‘I am so ready to have this baby’.
Dani and her boyfriend Simon first announced they were expecting their first child back in January admitting she ‘always wanted to be a mum’.
At the time of the announcement Dani said “ We're over the moon. I still wake up every morning and go, 'I'm pregnant.' It was amazing seeing the scan. I find the whole thing absolutely fascinating. What an amazing, clever thing to be going on inside my body”.
Dani portrayed the role of Tracy Beaker in the hit show and starred on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2010 where she finished fourth.
The proud mum is yet to share any images of her new born but we bet she is a little cutie.
