Tattoo Fixers make embarrassing mistake on a tattoo

The artists didn't spot the mistake

Tattoo Fixers is the E4 show where the general public can take part and have their tattoo regrets covered up by ‘some of the best tattoo artists in the country.’ Their words not ours. However in an embarrassing gaffe on their new show Tattoo Fixers on Holiday, they are the ones who have left one guest with a bad inking.

The show features Alice Perrin, Sketch, Jay Hutton and receptionist Paisley who see a host of weird and wacky tattoos that people have got and then regretted. The team then draw up designs and cover-up the bad inking with a new design.

Last night’s episode featured Kat who, following the breakdown of her marriage, had got an inking during her summer break saying "YOGDO" - short for "you only get divorced once”.

Artist Alice Perrin presented Kat with a design for a cover up, a clock face surrounded by flowers. Kat chose to go ahead and seemed pleased with the piece. However eagle-eyed viewers took to Twitter to reveal Alice’s mistake - she had mistakenly put the number 11, written in Roman numerals as XI, twice. She had meant to put 9 which is written as IX. Oh dear.

The show or artists are yet to comment on the mishap.

This isn’t the first time the show has been under fire. In the past tattoo artists from around the country have criticised the work of the team, mainly Sketch, real name Steven Porter, for copying designs and not providing quality cover-ups.
