'Spectre' to have world premiere in London on national release date
The latest Bond film will be a 'world first'.
Sony Pictures have announced today (17th July) that the brand new Bond film will have its world premiere on the same day that it is released in the UK and Ireland, with releases in other countries in the following weeks.
The premiere, which will be in London will take place on Monday 26th October and is the first time a film has had its premiere on the opening night.
Spectre will be the 24th Bond film and the fourth starring Daniel Craig as James Bond. Directed by Sam Mendes who also directed Skyfall (the 23rd Bond film), this film is set to be a box office smash.
