Sigourney Weaver to return to Ghostbusters
Director Paul Feig broke the news on Twitter.
Paul Feig, the director of the new Ghostbusters reboot has confirmed that Sigourney Weaver will feature in the film.
The Bridesmaids director took to Twitter to reveal the news before it was leaked.
The film will star Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, who worked with Feig on Bridesmaids, as well as Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. Bill Murray is confirmed to feature in the film and Dan Aykroyd is rumoured to also cameo.
The Director has been sharing a number of tweets about the movie over the last few months.
To complete the gender role reversal the film will feature Thor star Chris Hemsworth as the receptionist.
The film is set for a US release date of July 2016.
