Russell Brand confirms he is expecting first child with Laura Gallacher
He announced it on Instagram.
Russell Brand has finally confirmed that he is expecting a baby later this year.
The comedian has been dating Laura Gallacher, the younger sister of television presenter Kirsty Gallacher, since last year, although they have also dated previously in 2007 and 2009.
Rumours arose back in May when Laura's parents apparently said they were ‘over the moon’ about the pregnancy, but no official statement was given.
Russell made the announcement on Instagram with a photo of a book his mum had bought him titled, The Expectant Dad's Handbook.
According to reports he proposed to Laura in June which was celebrated at a party attended by Kirsty and Susie Amy, who portrayed Chardonnay in Footballer's Wives.
