Ever fancied hiring your favourite band or artist to perform just for you?
Well if you have a lot of cash stored away in the bank, maybe you could book one of the popstars named in a new list.
The exhaustive list, published on website 22 Words, draws on information from anonymous sources in the entertainment industry, to give details of the booking fees for artists as big as Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.
Where an intimate set from superstar DJ, Avicii, would set you back around £118k, a performance from Gangnam Style one-hit-wonder Psy can be yours for a price between £59,000 and £88,000. Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Adele top the list with a fee reported to be around the £450k mark. Exactly how long these appearances last is unclear.
While the prices are likely to be too high for the average music fan, those with more modest budgets could consider booking appearances from some of the lesser-known (and interestingly-named) artists such as ‘The Gay Blades’ (£2k-3k), ‘Nappy Roots’ (£3k-6k), or ‘One Eskimo’ (£5k-9k).
Sadly, like many, we think our budget is more likely to stretch to ‘G-Eazy’ than Jay-Z.
