TV presenter and mum-of-two Peaches Geldof has tragically died at the age of just 25.

The second daughter of musician Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates was found dead at her home near Wrotham in Kent this afternoon (7th April).

Police came to the address after they received a call concerning the welfare of a woman. Peaches was later confirmed dead by the South East Ambulance Service.

A statement from Kent Police to the BBC said: "At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden.”

He dad Bob Geldof said this evening: "We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.

"What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"

Peaches married rock musician Thomas Cohen in 2012 and the couple had two young sons together - Astala in April 2012 and Phaedra Geldof-Cohen a year later.

Peaches lost her own mother, Paula Yates, in 2000 when she was just 11 years old.

"I remember the day my mother died, and it's still hard to talk about it,” Peaches told Elle Magazine recently.

"I just blocked it out...... I didn't start grieving for my mother properly until I was maybe 16."

Poignantly, Peaches’ last Instagram photo, posted yesterday afternoon, is of herself as a child in her mum’s arms.

Peaches leaves behind her husband and sons, dad Bob Geldof and sisters Fifi Trixibelle, Pixie and Tiger Lily.
