Paul Walker's brother Cody lands his first major film role
He had previously starred as a stand-in in Furious 7.
Paul Walker's younger brother, Cody, has landed his first major film role.
He's set to star alongside Nicolas Cage in an upcoming World War II drama titled 'USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage' according to Deadline. Set in July 1945, the film tells the story of Cage's character, Capt. Charles Butler McVay, on a secret mission to deliver parts for the first atomic bomb.

When his boat is torpedoed in the South Pacific, the crew are left stranded fighting for their life against starvation, dehydration and shark attacks. Based on a true story, of the 1,000 plus crew aboard only 317 survived to tell the tale. Cody Walker will play a member of the crew, but it is unsure whether he will survive or not.

This will be Cody's first major film appearance since acting as a stand-in for his late brother Paul in Furious 7. Cody was asked to be in the film after his brother tragically died in a car crash in 2013.
His first film 'USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage' is expected to hit the cinemas next year.
