Pop star Nicki Minaj went viral over the weekend after appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside Belfast writer/director Sir Kenneth Branagh.
James complimented the Trinidadian-born star on her acting talents, asking her to mimic Adele’s signature accent.
When asked could she speak in the same accent as fellow guest Branagh, Nicki said why not.
With a little help from Corden, the singer pulled off a ‘near perfect’ attempt and Twitter went mad!
Corden said: "Can you do an Irish accent? Kenneth Branagh's here tonight, he made that film 'Belfast'. Let's see if you can say this: 'Get out now."
Nailing it in just one go, Corden then asked her to add a local phrase ‘So It Is’. Again, Minaj did not disappoint!

Fans from both sides of the Atlantic loved this clip, with some remarking that Minaj’s attempt at the accent is better than most actors.
So of course this has left us all wondering when will Nicki return to Northern Ireland 🤷♀️
