Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan and former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan have been voted the sexiest man and woman on planet earth!!
At 9pm this evening, the results of heat magazine’s 101 Hottest hunks and FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World polls were revealed in simultaneously.
In heat’s Hottest Hunks countdown, thanks to his raunchy role as Christian Grey in ‘Fifty Shades…’, 33-year-old Northern Irish heartthrob Jamie Dornan climbed seven places to claim the prestigious top spot!
heat's Editor-in-chief Lucie Cave commented: "So many hot men, so little time. That's why we asked the readers of heat magazine to name and rate the 100 hottest men alive. They've done us proud – and now we can all drool over the sexiest men in the world, all in one place."
Voted for by readers of heat and visitors to heatworld.com, last year’s Hottest Hunk Zac Efron slipped one place to two and One Direction’s Harry Styles climbed 11 spots to third.
Spanish model and internet sensation Diego Barrueco is this year’s highest new entry at number four while McBusted drummer Harry Judd retains his top ten ranking for a second consecutive year at number five.
Other celebs who made heat’s Hottest Hunk countdown include David Beckham (6), Calvin Harris (7), Gary Barlow (11), Bradley Cooper (40) and Ryan Gosling (44).
Over in FHM’s countdown, 27-year-old Manchester lass Michelle Keegan climbed one place to take the illustrious Sexiest Woman in the World crown.
FHM editor Joe Barnes commented: “Many congratulations to Michelle on her very worthy win. This year’s 100 Sexiest poll was more keenly contested than ever – we had over a million votes, which was truly incredible. And for me, and the FHM team, it's great to see a hugely talented UK actress take the top spot."
In second place is reality star Kendall Jenner who has climbed an incredible 29 places, while last year’s winner Jennifer Lawrence is at three.
Also in the Top 10 is model Kate Upton is up 14 places to fourth and TV presenter and Strictly champion Caroline Flack has re-entered the countdown at number five.
However, perhaps the biggest surprise was that octogenarian Great British Bake Off presenter Mary Berry came in at 73rd place!
Other big names in the Sexiest poll include Margot Robbie (7), Lucy Mecklenburgh (8), Natalie Dormer (16) Susanna Reid (21), Katy Perry (25), and Holly Willoughby (35).
It was a bad year for Rihanna who fell outside the Top 20 to 23 and previous winner Cheryl Fernandez-Visini who slipped a humungous 55 places to 68.
