Megan McKenna confirms split from Pete Wicks in angry tweet

Viewers of The Only Way Is Essex have witnessed a number of break ups and reconciliations between Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks, but now it looks like it could be over for good.
With rumours circulating online that the pair had split, Megan broke her silence on Twitter last night and she certainly didn't hold back.
After hearing reports that Pete could be lined up for the next series of E4's Celebs Go Dating, Megan vented her anger to her 564,000 Twitter followers.
She wrote, 'Enough of the s**t... yes me and Pete have split. I was keeping quiet out of respect for him'.
I was keeping quiet out of respect for him. But as he's been 'blabbing' and bragging about other TV shows I will now confirm we are OVER.'
'And have been over for a while. End of the speculations. Now let me move on with my life. Thanks.'
Despite the pair both attending the TRIC Awards yesterday, Megan and Pete arrived at the event separately.
28-year-old Pete has expressed interest in starring in Celebs Go Dating and revealed there are other TV shows he's line up for too.
The pair had only recently worked things out after Pete admitted to inappropriately texting other girls whilst being with Megan.
Despite earning forgiveness from Megan and her family, on last week's episode of TOWIE the tattooed star admitted to his friend and co-star Chloe Sims that he still hasn't been able to fully forgive himself.
He said, “What happened a few months ago was completely my fault and it’s affected me more than it had. I haven’t forgiven myself. I wanna go back to being me.”
As if there wasn't enough drama on TOWIE already with the Dan, Amber and Jamie story line, the aftermath of Megan and Pete's split is set to play out on the upcoming episodes on ITVBe.
