Huge congratulations are in order for Love Island 2017 contestants Jess Shears and Dom Lever, who have announced they're expecting a baby! The couple, who got married in October 2018 after meeting on the show, have taken to Instagram to share the happy news.

Sharing a cute snap of three polaroids - one with Jess cradling her bump, one with Dom pretending to stroke his own tummy and another of the baby scan - Jess wrote, 'The best is yet to come 🤰🏽👼', and Dom shared the same snap with the caption, 'Living the dream ❤️.'

Fans were of course over the moon for the pair, who had a fake wedding ceremony on Good Morning Britain a few years ago. Fellow Love Islander Tayla Damir commented on the snap, writing, 'Woohooo 😍 congrats guys 😘😘', and Camilla Thurlow added, 'Congratulations to you both, such lovely news! 😘😘.'

Scott Thomas wrote, 'Class bro congrats 👊', and Sam Gowland wrote, 'Wow !!!!! Congratulations buzzing for u both ❤️' as Jake Quickenden added, 'Congrats both x.'

Dom and Jess began discussing getting married and having babies together pretty much as soon as they left the villa, with Dom saying just a few weeks after the end of the show, "We've both said 'love' since we've been out. I know it seems nuts because we've only been together a few weeks, but we got to know each other inside-out in that villa."

He also said after their wedding in Mykonos last year, "People said we wouldn't last but now we're husband and wife. We're proof that when you meet the right person, there's no need to hang around."

Congratulations to the couple!
