Liam Hemsworth 'moves on' from Miley Cyrus with actress Maddison Brown
Liam and Miley called it quits back in August
Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth is reportedly dating actress Maddison Brown following his split from his wife Miley Cyrus earlier this year.
Liam and Miley called it quits two months ago after a year of marriage, having dated on and off for 10 years, with Miley thought have then moved on with Brody Jenner’s ex Kaitlynn Carter.
Following the split, Liam returned to his homeland Australia and has kept a pretty low profile. That was until he was spotted holding hands with fellow Aussie Maddison, who has starred in Dynasty and Strangerland, in New York City earlier this week.
“He’s so into Maddison and really likes her,” a source told Us Weekly.
“Liam feels like Maddison gets him and understands him, partly because she is also Australian. They also both share similar senses of humor.”
However, it’s claimed that Liam isn’t in a rush to makes things official with Maddison, with a source telling PEOPLE, “It’s very new.
“Liam is taking it slow but he’s definitely interested in her.”
A representative for Hannah Montana star Miley announced that her and Liam were taking a break in August, in a statement which read, “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
“They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart.
“Please respect their process and privacy.”
Miley was then forced to deny cheating on Liam after reports suggested that she had been unfaithful.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Miley wrote, “I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating.
“Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will. BUT at this point I had to make a healthy decision for myself to leave a previous life behind."
Miley is now dating Australian singer Cody Simpson, with the 'Malibu' singer confirming the pair are official on her Instagram last week.
