She's a major pop star and the main actress in Bradley Cooper's 2018 film A Star Is Born, but Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, better know as Lady Gaga, has now revealed that she would prefer to be called something else!

Speaking to American talk show host Ellen DeGeneres back in 2018, the 'Poker Face' singer revealed that she likes to be called 'Lady' as her long time collaborator Tony Bennett calls her that. Ellen then joked, "What if I called you, I don't want to be like everyone else, what if I call you Miss Lady." After a short pause Lady replied, 'Done'.

So, there we have it. Lady!

Although, if we're honest, we aren't sure it will stick, after all, the singer's social channels and website still say Lady Gaga.

During the interview with Ellen, Lady Gaga also revealed she can't let go of her character from A Star is Born - her recent film starring alongside Bradley Cooper. Despite dyeing her hair blonde as soon as she'd stopped filming, the singer admitted "she's still in me".

It's not the first time in recent weeks that the pop star's name as been a topic of conversation. The 'Bad Romance' singer stars in A Star is Born and at a recent press conference for the film the name plate for the singer caused a stir. Sitting next to Bradley, whose name was written as B. Cooper, Lady Gaga had L. Gaga!

A Star Is Born is Bradley Cooper's directorial debut and a remake of the 1937 film of the same name. The film has been nominated for a massive seven awards at the 2019 BAFTA Film Awards.

Despite Lady Gaga missing out on the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture at this year's Golden Globes, she did pick up the award for Best Original Song, telling fans on Twitter, 'I am so beyond grateful for this Golden Globe & honored to have won it'.
