A lot has happened over the last year for Kanye West, he received an honorary doctorate, he announced he's going to run for president and he had a child with wife Kim Kardashian West.
If that wasn't enough now it's rumoured he and the family will be moving to the UK.
Kanye spent a lot of time in the UK last year, including performing at The BRITs, headlining at Glastonbury and giving a lecture at Oxford University so apparently he rather fancies the aristocratic lifestyle.
Kim and Kanye reportedly sold their LA home for $20 million late last year, so they have 'a few spare pennies' for the £500,000 they are apparently putting towards a large plot of land somewhere in the UK.
According to the Daily Mirror a source has told them the 'parents-of-two have their sights set on an aristocratic lifestyle. While he will always have a home in LA - where Kim's expansive family are based - he likes the idea of having a manor across the pond.'
While it's all just speculation at the moment it wouldn't be the first time American celebrities have sought a retreat in the British countryside.
Last year George and Amal Clooney bought a £10 million mansion near an Oxfordshire village and it is believed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are also house-hunting in the area.
Model, Elle MacPherson has a house in the Cotswolds, while 'Professional Widow' singer Tori Amos divides her time between Cornwall, County Cork and Florida.
