Celebrity Big Brother and X Factor star Katie Waissel has shared a touching message about becoming a mum for the first time. The TV star is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Andy Speer, and as she nears the six month mark of her pregnancy, decided to share a photo showing off her baby bump.
She started her caption saying, 'I wanted to share this picture with you as for me, it captured a real moment of vulnerability, honesty and heart. I was actually trying to film a little video diary which I’ve been doing throughout my pregnancy and my phone paused on this image.'
Katie then went on to explain how at six months pregnant she's 'never been more excited and scared and nervous' in her life.
She continued, 'As a first time mum, reading and researching how to be ‘a great parent’ can’t even begin to prepare you for the emotional ride you embark on throughout pregnancy to get you there. So many firsts! So many questions! So many fears!'

Katie and Andy announced they were expecting back in January. The X Factor star took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news sharing a beautiful photo on her small baby bump and her scan photo.
She wrote alongside the adorable snap, 'So today is officially the day that I get to share the greatest blessings on earth with you!
'For those who have been such a huge part of my journey over the years, you will know that life certainly hasn’t always thrown me roses however it has honestly been perfectly imperfect.
'The amazing thing is, life threw me all the tools I could possibly need to build and craft such an incredible future and now I can say this rose bush has blossomed into such beautiful flowers.'
Katie came seventh on The X Factor back in 2010. She then took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 where she became the seventh housemate to leave the house, in the series where Stephen Bear won.
