Katie Price has hit back at critics who accused her of ‘forcing’ her children into the spotlight by saying they ‘don’t know any different’.
Katie’s children and in particular Junior and Princess have lived most of their lives on a TV screen but now the former glamour model has defended herself from critics.
Speaking about her 11-year-old son Junior and nine-year-old daughter Princess, the mum-of-five admitted her children are enjoying their work and get rewarded for it.
Speaking to a national newspaper, Katie said “Junior and Princess know they get paid for jobs so they love it. I ensure they get paid for everything they do but if they don’t want to do something, they don’t have to”.
During Katie’s four-year marriage to Peter Andre, the pair were involved in reality shows including Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter and Katie and Peter Stateside and now they are set to appear on Katie’s brand new show Katie Price’s Pony Club.
The show is set to follow six novice horse riders including Junior and Princess and follow their journey as they take on the elitist world of pony clubs from around the world. Each episode will show the young group tackle a number of different forms of horse riding, helping them improve various skills throughout the series.

Speaking at the launch of the show back in April, Katie said “I’ve not done a reality show for four years and I’m so excited to be doing this with TLC. This really is a dream come true.”
The new series is set to begin in the next month.
It seems Junior is also excited about his new venture, the 11-year-old has previously said in the past that he ‘loves being on camera’ and he certainly proved that during his guest appearance on Loose Women.
Katie‘s son appeared on the show alongside his sister Princess and the other panel member’s children back in March for a Mother’s Day special. Junior stole the show with his confident personality and embarrassing revelations about his mum.

Katie’s youngest children, two-year-old Jett and one-year Bunny, whom she shares with husband Kieran Hayler are yet to appear on any of her TV shows.
