Joel Edgerton: 'Christian Bale Is A Really Funny Man'

Christian Bale has a reputation as one of the most intense and serious men in the acting world.
Not helped by the infamous leaked tantrum on the set of Terminator: Salvation back in 2009, it’s something Bale has found difficult to shake off.
However, speaking to Entertainment NOW! at the world premiere of Exodus: Gods & Kings in London’s Leicester Square last night, Bale’s co-star Joel Edgerton insisted he’s a “very funny man.”

Directed by the legendary Ridley Scott, biblical epic Exodus: Gods & Kings tells the story of defiant leader Moses (played by Bale) who rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses (Edgerton) setting 600,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its horrific plagues.
Hitting cinemas just in time for Christmas, the film also stars Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, Salam Hayak, Sir Ben Kingsley, Sigourney Weaver, and María Valverde.
