The cast of Sir Kenneth Branagh's new semi-autobiographical film Belfast have been on a global press tour, sharing a taste of home with the world.

Earlier this week, the film premiered in Los Angeles, where star Jamie Dornan jumped on stage to perform one of the iconic songs from the production.

He sang 'Everlasting Love', a song he actually sings as Pa to his beloved wife Ma, played by Outlander's Caitríona Balfe.

In a video shared on social media, co-stars his co-stars Caitríona and 11-year-old Jude Hill can be seen proudly singing and dancing along front of stage.

Fans went wild for the behind the scenes snap, one commented: "I can't even remember how many times I have watched this today. But the happiness and fun that is seen here is spectacular and I can't wait to see this film 🤩"

The local cast have already scooped up an impressive 11 nominations for the upcoming British Independent Film Awards.

When we caught up with Jamie Dornan on the red carpet at the Irish premiere of Belfast, he mentioned how the most important critics will be from home.

Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody also attended the LA premiere this week, and shared his adoration for the cast, crew and film.

He wrote: "That there is a film called Belfast, directed by the great Sir Kenneth Branagh, out in the world is a thing of wonder. To think our capital city is at the heart of a film wowing audiences around the world is something I’m having a rather wonderful time trying to wrap my head around."

"It’s not the story of Northern Ireland, nor is it the story of The Troubles from multiple angles, nor do I think it was intended to be. It is rather, at its heart, the story of one family and the street they live on and the times they thrive in or endure, through pain and laughter and shock and empathy and heartbreak and joy. And it’s a triumph!"

High praise indeed! 👏
