James Arthur Hits Out At "Embarrassing" Promotion Team

Yet more Twitter controversy from The X Factor winner

James Arthur has sparked fresh controversy after he dubbed his promotion team “embarrassing” on Twitter.

Unhappy with the way his representatives are using the social networking site, James openly criticised them, writing: “HQ please stop writing things like ‘we think you would #LOVE This and that’ or ‘everybody #GETDOWN and buy this.’ It's embarrassing.”

In another dig, James added: “Stick to promoting Paul Potts please. Thanks. #LOVE”

The 2012 X Factor winner then suggested that the job should go to “an actual fan” before Britain’s Got Talent champion Paul Potts offered James some wise advice.

Paul said: “you're a talented guy and ur music is great. But you're not an amateur anymore. Criticising ur promotion team openly on here isn't the best idea.

“Their wages come out of your budget and there will come a time when you need them more than they need u.”

Last November James briefly surrendered use of his Twitter account to management after a diss track he wrote aimed at rapper MC Micky Worthless caused a furore over its use of the word “queer.”

Comedians Matt Lucas and Frankie Boyle got into a war of words with a defiant James before he apologised and took time out from the limelight.

The uproar deepened when fellow X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan shared screenshots of abusive text messages James had allegedly sent her.
