The Gogglebox: Brexit Special was dedicated to the narrator
The Gogglebox: Brexit Special was dedicated to narrator Caroline Aherne who sadly passed away on the 2nd July 2016 at the age of 52 after losing a battle with lung cancer.
The EU Referendum-focused edition was narrated by Craig Cash, who starred with Caroline on The Royle Family. At the end of the episode a fitting tribute was paid as a 'In Loving Memory of' message appeared before the credits.
The theme tune from The Royle Family Oasis' 'Half The World Away' then played out.
