After a couple of tantalising teasers, the first proper trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 has finally premiered!
Telling the story of fictional nation Panem’s uprising, the suitably epic one-minute trailer features futuristic airships, gun battles, explosions and plenty of dramatic shots.
Katniss Everdeen herself Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorn), Natalie Dormer (Cressida), Julianne Moore (President Coin) and the late-great Philip Seymour Hoffman (Plutarch) all-star in the trailer.
The third and penultimate instalment of the ultra-successful Hunger Game franchise, Mockingjay Part 1 hits cinema screens in the UK this November.
Lionsgate will release Part 2 exactly one year later in November 2015.
