Dappy Denies He Was Booed Off Stage At Isle of Wight Festival
The fans wanted more, he claims
Dappy has hit out at reports he was booed off at Isle of Wight Festival over the weekend.
The rapper arrived 15 minutes late for his Saturday afternoon set on the Big Top stage and was met with a chorus of boos when he exited after just three songs.
Blaming the aborted set on technical difficulties, Dappy also refused to talk to the press in the media area afterwards.
Last night he took to Twitter to rubbish claims the boos were from fans complaining. Instead, he says it was because “they wanted more.”
He wrote: “Rumours being said that I got booed off stage! We all know that sh wouldn’t happen to me!! They were p*ed cause they wanted more.”
Tweeting shortly after his performance, Dappy said: "Killed Isle of White yesterday despite the horrific technicals."
