Emmerdale's Danny Miller announces engagement and baby news
What a year for the couple!

2021 has certainly been a year to remember so far for Emmerdale star Danny Miller and his partner Steph Jones, as the couple have announced both their engagement and pregnancy news!
Danny, who plays the role of Aaron Dingle in the popular ITV show, revealed to OK! Magazine he popped the question on a beach in St Lucia earlier this year, before discovering they were expecting their first child following a struggle to conceive.
Following a year of trying for a baby, Steph told the publication: "It was a massive surprise because emotionally we’d been psyching ourselves up for IVF. It was meant to be. We got engaged at the beginning of January and found out we were expecting in February."
Danny went on to explain he was actually on the set of Emmerdale when he discovered the happy news, filming the recent barn explosion storyline which hit our screens last month.
The actor said: "I rang Steph and she was laughing but crying and I just knew. With us being with the IVF consultant the day before, I was in complete shock. I started crying. It’s making me emotional to think about it now. I bought another pregnancy test on the way home, not that she had to prove it, but I just wanted that moment for us."

Paloma Faith
Singer Paloma Faith announced in October that she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend Stevie Thomas. Sharing the lovely news in an Instagram post, the 44-year-old confirmed she's 18 weeks pregnant. Paloma is already a mum to two children with her ex Leyman Lahcine.
Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper
TV presenter Joel Dommett and his wife Hannah Cooper announced in November that they are expecting their second child together! The couple, who are already parents to their son Wilde, shared the news on social media, writing: ' 'Baby in mumma tummy. Hard to keep secrets with a toddler around'.
Ellie Goulding and Beau Minniear
Singer Ellie Goulding has revealed she is expecting her second child, her first with boyfriend Beau Minniear. The singer appeared on the red carpet at The Fashion Awards 2025 showing off her baby bump, wearing a cropped top.
Sienna Miller and Oli Green
At the same event as Ellie Goulding, actress Sienna Miller also announced her pregnancy, alongside her boyfriend Oli Green. Sienna is already a proud mum to her 13-year-old daughter Marlowe, whom she shares with her ex Tom Sturridge, and her 23-month-old daughter with Oli. The new arrival will be Sienna and Oli's second child together.
Danny met Steph in primary school, but the pair didn't start dating until 2019, with Danny proposing to his girl on a beach in stunning Caribbean Island St Lucia in January this year.
Speaking about the couple's upcoming wedding, Danny admitted he'd love to invite his on-screen Emmerdale family from the soap, as well as former stars Kelvin Fletcher and brother Ryan and Adam Thomas.
