Craig Charles has left I’m A Celebrity… Out Of Here following the death of his brother Dean.

ITV bosses confirmed he left the jungle earlier this morning (Thursday 20th November) after hearing the tragic news.

A statement said: "Craig decided to leave the IAC camp earlier today and will be heading back to his family the UK. We send our sincere condolences to Craig and his family."

49-year-old Craig becomes the second person to leave the show after Gemma Collins walked out on camp on Wednesday after struggling to adjust with life in the Aussie rainforest.

Craig was told of Dean’s death when he woke up in the morning rather than being awoken in the night.

An insider told the Daily Mirror: “We took the decision not to shock Craig and wake him in middle of the night and will inform him of the sad news when he wakes up.He will be allowed to do exactly what he wishes.”

Several newspapers are reporting that father-of-two Dean died of a heart attack.

A big hit with viewers, bookmakers had made Craig one of the favourites to win the ITV show.
