Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts release statement following I'm A Celebrity 'plot' rumours
They've hit back at the claims
Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts have been forced to deny rumours they've formed a WhatsApp group in an attempt to conjure up a plan to get fans to vote for their Girls Aloud bandmate Nadine Coyle to do the I'm A Celebrity Bushtucker trials.
The three singers have taken a rare step in publishing at statement to the MailOnline to shut down the rumours before they get out of hand.
In the statement, Cheryl confirmed there was no truth in the rumours, saying, "We only want to see Nadine do well, and regardless of any differences we might have had, we will always have love for each other.
"We did not enjoy watching her distressed when jumping out of the plane. And we don't have time for group chats regarding the trials of the show!"
Kimberley, who previously admitted she had "no idea" why Nadine had signed up to the reality show, echoed Cheryl's comments, confessing, "I felt really emotional watching Nadine jump out of the plane and texted Cheryl saying how hard it was to watch. I think she's doing great in there."
Nicola said similar remarks to her bandmates, concluding, "We don't have a group chat about I'm A Celebrity, this just isn't true. We only wish Nadine the best in the jungle and hope she does well on the show."
It comes after claims suggested the trio were "voting repeatedly" for Nadine, in an attempt to make her get the most votes for the eating trials.
