Awkward! Tom Jones says Elvis Presley sang to him in the shower
The pair became friends in the sixties
Tom Jones has revealed that Elvis Presley pitched a new song to him while the 'It's Not Unusual' star was in the shower.
The two had apparently been in a meeting in Los Angeles in the 60s, when Elvis heard a song he though would be perfect for Tom Jones, so he insisted on visiting the Welshman's hotel room.
Speaking to the U.S. talk-show host Conan O'Brien, he said:
"He was standing there cleaning up, looking in the mirror and so I'm naked and he's half naked; his pants are down by his ankles.
It's thought the bodyguard then helped Elvis squeeze back into his tight leather trousers.
