Love Island's Amber Davies hits back at reports she's back with her ex Sonny Hall

After announcing her split from fellow Love Island star Kem Cetinay last week, reports were circulating that Amber Davies was back with her ex-boyfriend Sonny Hall after the pair were spotted together over the weekend.

When Amber posted videos to her Instagram story with Sonny, rumours were rife that the pair were back together.

An insider reportedly told a national newspaper, "Whether Sonny is just a rebound for Amber is unclear at the moment but the two couldn’t keep their hands off each other at Sugar Hut nightclub in Essex on Saturday."

"Amber didn’t seem to mind who knew as she was posting videos on Instagram of her cuddling up to his little white puppy while still at his home on Sunday morning.

"That can’t have been easy for Kem to see."

But now, Amber has shut down the rumours and even seemed to deny Sonny was ever her boyfriend.

Posting a video of herself using Snapchat's popular bunny filter, Amber confirmed she's been friends with Sonny for years, and admitted the pair have NEVER been in a relationship together.

Amber and Kem, who won the 2017 series of Love Island, seemed to be completely in love until they announced their split last week.

Putting it down to 'work schedules', Kem released a statement to Mail Online which read, "With sadness, we’ve decided to separate. We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us.

"We still have a lot of love for each other and will remain good friends."

Despite this, new reports today suggest the real reason for the couple's split was because Amber felt their relationship was going far too fast.
