It's been a while since we have heard anything new from pop star Adele, but could her latest Instagram post be an indication of a change in music direction? The 'Hello' pop star posted a photo of herself dressed as country music icon June Carter Cash, and has got fans speculating that she could be about to release some country music.

In the photo, Adele can be seen wearing a long brunette wig, in the style of the five-time GRAMMY Award winner, with a long blue dress with lace at the front. The singer can also be seen holding an autoharp, which June was known for playing.

Simply captioned, 'June Carter Cash ❤️', Adele's photo has attracted a lot of attention from her fans, with one saying, 'Adele i love u, u inspire me so much... plus, love your make up 😘', sic, and another commenting, 'Omg I love this! Beautiful !!! ❤️❤️. sic

It's almost a year to the day, that Adele posted a photo of herself dressed as another country legend, Dolly Parton. Adele captioned the photo, 'The effortless queen of song, Dolly Parton! We love you! We wish We could possess an ounce of your ability. You were the hero of our night! A hero of my life. I'll always love you x'.
