It was just last month that Cian Ducrot released his first song of the year, 'Who's Making You Feel It'. The singer, who's had success with songs such as 'Part Of Me' and 'Heaven', joined Boogie and Arlene on Tay FM to talk about his new song, and what the meaning is behind it.

Boogie told Cian what he thought the new song was about, saying: "You've split up with someone, and now they've gone for this new fella and this new fella is better than you. Is that the kind of vibe of that song?"

What is the meaning behind 'Who's Making You Feel It'?

Cian replied: "He wishes!"

Going on to say: "It's basically a song that kind of goes through a lot of the different emotions of like what happens after sort of a break up, or on a break, or whatever it is.

"And you know, one minute you might be kind of sarcastically wishing them the best, and then another minute you're like, actually, I really need to know, who are you with and how do they make you feel.

"You know... are they fulfilling all of your dreams and then another minute, you're like, I actually don't really care, you know, I’m totally fine. So it's kind of just going through a lot of the emotions."

Following this explanation, Arlene then joked with Cian that a lot of his songs are depressing and when will he write a happier one.

"I thought this one was relatively happy enough to sing along to," Cian admitted, going on to joke: "You see the problem is everyone's always asking you what your songs are about, if people would just leave me alone and listen to the song. Then they could just be like, well, this song feels happy. It could be happy, you know."

Cian already has a sold out gig in Scotland coming up in March, but admitted he doesn't know when he'll be in the country in the future, but he hopes to come back again.

"I don't know! I couldn't tell you," he admitted, saying: "Hopefully once a year, every year for the rest of my life. Maybe twice a year, maybe thrice a year!"
