How does the voting work?

In 2024, voting in the celebrity series was 'Vote to Save', with fans being urged to vote for their favourite celeb.

Fans were able to vote for their favourite celebs on the official app for free.

Hosts AJ and Will explained the voting system via a video ahead of the launch show. They said: "So we're coming at you with big news. You remember the last series of Big Brother it was vote to evict. This time, for Celeb BB, you are voting for your favourite housemate. You're always going to vote to save."

When was the last series of CBB?

The 2024 series of Celebrity Big Brother aired between 4th March-22nd March.

Prior to that, the last series of Celebrity Big Brother aired in 2018, with former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas being crowned the winner, after a series of controversy thanks to Roxanne Pallett.

How many series has there been?

Celebrity Big Brother first kicked off in 2001, with the spin-off show airing all the way up until 2018.

In later years, the celebrity spin-off show became a lot more popular than the civilian series, with famous faces such as Mark Owen, Katie Price, Rylan Clark, Coleen Nolan, Jermaine Jackson, Michael Barrymore, Kerry Katona, Gemma Collins, and more all taking part.

Perhaps the most memorable series to date was in 2016, when the likes of Gemma Collins, Stephanie Davis, Jeremy McConnell, Scotty T, Tiffany Pollard, Angie Bowie, David Gest and Megan McKenna entered the house.

As well as Stephanie and Jeremy having an affair on live TV, Tiffany mistakenly thought co-star David Gest had passed away in the house, after Angie revealed her ex-husband David has sadly passed away from cancer.
