Ed Sheeran in disguise wows commuters with Chappell Roan cover
Would you have recognised him?

Following the release of his latest song 'Azizam', Ed Sheeran has shared a video where is performs on the New York underground along with American talkshow host Jimmy Fallon.
The singer can be seen donning a black wig and hat, performing Chappell Roan's chart topping hit 'Pink Pony Club', as members of the public go about their daily commute. However, after performing the song, Jimmy then takes off his disguise to introduce Ed Sheeran, who also reveals his true identity.
Ed then goes into performing his new song which means 'my beloved' in Persian. A large crowd quickly forms around the multi-award winner, with everyone quick to pull out their phones, to capture the moment.
Sharing the collab post, Jimmy wrote: '@teddysphotos & Jimmy busk in disguise at an NYC subway stop! #FallonTonight #Azizam #PinkPonyClub'.
Speaking about his new song, Ed said in an interview with Hits Radio: "(The) test for this song is whether it like beats ‘Bad Habits’ (and) can be a show closer. So, I'm hoping that, that that's my like goal for it, that like the fans like it enough that it can just be the end of the show because I think it's a good like dance song at the end."
He added: "Do you know what Drake said it once? He was like 'I judge albums based on what I closed the show with and if I'm still closing the show with ‘One Dance’ I've done the wrong job', you know? And I was like, that's a that's a good point."
Judging my the reaction he got in the New York City subway, we don't think he has anything to worry about with 'Azizam'. 'Azizam' is the first song Ed has released from his upcoming eighth album 'Play', due for release later this year.
