Gregory Porter's Liquid Spirit‬, ‪Amy Winehouse's Frank‬ and Aretha Franklin's Amazing Grace.

What is your most memorable jazz gig?

I have fond memories of winning tickets for the iTunes Festival at the Roundhouse in 2014. It was an artist I had never heard of but I didn't want to miss out on the chance to see some live music. I arrived early, not knowing what to expect and stood right by the stage. My jaw dropped at the first note - it was the night that I discovered ‪Gregory Porter‬!

If you were to choose the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the Jazz FM Awards, who would you give it to and why? Marcus Miller - he’s worked with almost everyone, produced many legendary albums and artists, and always stays current. His bass parts are instantly recognisable in style and tone.

The album that introduced you to Jazz?

‪Norah Jones - Come Away With Me. I had just started secondary school when her debut album came out. I had always listened to a selection of jazz records with my Grandparents but it was the crossover for me to start discovering jazz for myself. ‬
