Stop everything and get ready to fill your baskets as Cadbury has released a new version of its iconic Dairy Milk chocolate bar, containing 30% LESS SUGAR. Yes, you heard us right - from this month (July) onward, you will be able to snack on the famous sweet treat with almost half the guilt...

After three years of hard work from over 20 scientists, nutritionists and chocolatiers, Cadbury have achieved a bar containing 30% less sugar with no artificial sweeteners, and most importantly a truly irresistible taste.

Brand Manager Katrina Davison says the brand noticed an, "increasing trend for people wanting to manage their sugar intake," leading them to working "tirelessly" to create the great tasting chocolatey treat.

She continued, "We are committed to responding to relevant consumer trends, and are always striving to offer chocolate lovers greater choice through exciting innovations and portion control offerings."

According to the brand, some of the original bar’s sugar has been replaced with fibre in order to maintain the structure and texture of the original bar. We have, however, been assured that it tastes "incredibly similar" to our old time fav.
