West Yorkshire Police officer due in court over alleged fraudulent expenses

The 30 year old, based in Bradford, has been placed on restricted duties

A serving West Yorkshire Police officer is due in court accused of putting in fraudulent expenses claims.

PC Ibrar Yaseen, 30, has been charged with one count of fraud by false representation after an investigation into mileage claims.

The Bradford based officer is due before Doncaster Magistrates Court on August 19.

He has been removed from frontline policing and placed on restricted duties.
