Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and firearms offences after another man was shot in the face in Leeds.

A 34-year-old man turned up at a hospital on Monday with injuries to his face, which doctors later found to be a bullet wound.

Police arrested a 32-year-old man a short time later, and began carrying out investigations in Mardale Crescent in Seacroft, where it's thought the shooting took place.

They've also questioned a 34-year-old man who has been released under investigation.

Detectives are also linking the shooting in Seacroft to reports of gunshots being fired in Woodhouse on Thursday May 09.
