A 53-year-old man has been charged with murdering Ruth Baker
A woman found dead at a house in Leeds over the Easter weekend has been named as 48-year-old Ruth Baker.
Her body was discovered in Tempest Road in Beeston on Saturday 30th March, and a man has been charged with murder.
In a statement, Ruth's family said: "“We are saddened by our loss, however we want to remember her in a positive light and not be darkened by the circumstances of her death.”
53-yaer-old George Chalmers, who is from Tempest Road, appeared in court on Wednesday (April 03) charged in connection with her death.
He did not enter a plea and is expected to appear in court again at the start of May.
