Investigation launched into 'unexplained' death in Shadwell

An investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead in the street in North Leeds.

The victim, who's been identified as being from the area and in her 50s, was discovered in Darkwood Close at around 12:40am yesterday (April 6).

Her death is currently being treated as unexplained, and officers are still trying to establish the circumstances.
