A fire at an historic mill in Keighley, which has appeared in Peaky Blinders and Downton Abbey, is being treated as arson.

Fire crews were called to Dalton Mills at around 19:37GMT on Sunday (9 June), where there was extensive damage to the derelict building.

Police have now confirmed it is being treated as arson and want to speak to any who saw anything suspicious.

A second fire which broke out at the mill on Monday morning is also under investigation, with 11 fire crews called out just hours later.

Both have now been extinguished.

The mill was nearly destroyed by a fire in 2022, and two teenagers have since been charged with arson.
