Leeds man to go on trial accused of murdering woman after body found in bush

A man is to go on trial in September accused of murdering a woman whose body was found in a bush in Leeds.
Theresa Jordan (32) had been missing for 11 days when her body was discovered by a member of the public on 23 June 2022, near to a supermarket in Harehills.
Mark Anthony Metcalfe (39) was charged with murder and preventing a lawful burial on Tuesday (March 05).
He did not enter a plea during a court appearance on Thursday (March 07), and the trial is expected to last three weeks.
