Man in hospital after falling from M62 bridge

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after falling from a bridge over the M62 in West Yorkshire.
The motorway was shut between junctions 29 and 30 at around 09:35 on Thursday morning (July 04).
Armed police and ambulance crews were called to the scene, following calls for concern about the man's safety.
Detectives are now asking to speak to any witnesses.
The road has since reopened.
